General information

Orders for in-stock items ship the next business day.

Currently, we do not ship on Saturday, Sunday, or major US holidays.

Each individual product page lists its availability, and when we'll ship the product.

MilSpecCoating.com products are not returnable.

Tracking Your Order

Most orders are shipped FedEx. Your FedEx tracking number is provided in your shipment confirmation email. You may retrieve your tracking number online in the Orders section of My Account/Order Status.

We will provide tracking information for other methods if available.

Destinations

MilSpecCoating.com ships only within the United States, normally. We are IATA certified, and will consider international shipments under certain conditions. Call or email us to discuss specifics.

We cannot ship via Ground to our customers in Hawaii and Alaska, for obvious reasons. Because these coatings are Class 3 Flammable, shipments to Hawaii or Alaska must go via Priority Overnight if going via FedEx. For larger orders (more than 20 gallons), call or email us to discuss alternatives.

Shipping Methods

MilSpecCoating.com offers several different methods for shipping your order:

• FedEx Ground (Ranges from 1-5 business days in United States... see map below. Not available for Hawaii or Alaska.)
• FedEx Priority Overnight (Next business morning in much of the United States)
• Your carrier (You are welcome to provide your own FedEx account number for the shipping of your order.)
• Los Angeles warehouse pickup (Local to Los Angeles option, if you want to pick up order yourself (map).)
• LTL shipping (Minimum order of 155 pounds required. Not priced online, so may delay order slightly. We will contact you after the order is received.)

If you have any special needs, please provide instructions in the "Shipping & Other Notes" section at the bottom of Checkout.

Dangerous Goods / Hazardous Materials

Carriers require additional fees, per package, if the product is classified as a Dangerous Good / Hazardous Material per DOT regulations. Most of our military spec coating products are designated Class 3, Flammable. See individual product detail page or the MSDS for details.

Estimated Delivery Times

Product availability and ship times are listed prominently on the product detail pages, ranging from next business day to 10 business days in most instances.

FedEx Ground service typically takes up 1-5 days from shipment, depending on your distance from Los Angeles.

Orders Which Require Multiple Shipments

Our policy is to wait until all items in your order are available before we ship the order. Product availability is displayed prominently on product detail pages to avoid surprises.

If your order includes any items that will delay an order, we will email you. We'll ask if you'd like us to ship the available items immediately, or wait until all the items can ship together. We'll include a shipping quote for the additional shipment, so you can make an informed decision.

If you want the available items now (no waiting), please reply to the email or call us. Tell us you would like separate shipments and will accept the additional charge for the separate shipment.

If you can wait, no reply is necessary. We'll hold the order until all items are available, updating you regularly about the status of your order.

Product Weights

Our individual products range in weight from 14 pounds (1 gallon can of MIL-DTL-24607) up to 125 pounds (10 gallon kit of MIL-DTL-24441).

• 2 gallon kit: 26 lbs. (2 gallon cans)
• 10 gallon kit: 125 lbs. (2 5-gallon pails)

• 1 gallon can: 15 lbs.
• 5 gallon pail: 75 lbs.

• 1 gallon can: 14 lbs.
• 5 gallon pail: 70 lbs.

• 1 gallon can: 15 lbs.

All shipments come from our Los Angeles manufacturing facility.
